The Role

Working Hours - 12hour shifts, continental pattern days and nights (results in working 155days per year) 

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Multi-Point Glue Operative to join our production team. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for someone with experience in gluing operations, packaging machinery, or similar industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate multi-point gluing machines to ensure accurate
	
High-quality product output
	
Optimise and monitor machine performance,
	
adjust settings and perform routine maintenance as needed
	
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications
	
Troubleshoot issues and communicate with the maintenance team when necessary
	
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
	
Complete production records and follow company procedures
	
To work safely in accordance with Smurfit Westrock procedures

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Previous experience operating multi-point glue machines (preferred)
	
Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
	
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job sheets
	
Comfortable working to deadlines and production targets
	
Strong teamwork and communication skills

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate and value safe working and be able to communicate effectively throughout our business including suppliers.

Location & Hours

We are hiring a Mutti Point Gluer Operator working a continental 12hour rota shift pattern at our industry leading conversion plant on junction 29a of the M1. We are the Smurfit Westrock team at Markham Vale
