Job Description

Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for an Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer, will be responsible for:

  * Ensure that all day-to-day planned preventative maintenance activities of M&E maintenance is completed in line with contractual obligations.

  * Ensure all plant and equipment are maintained in accordance with O&M manuals, best practice and relevant guidelines/legislation.

  * Respond to reactive calls in line with contractual time scales and complete job sheets, reports and documentation as required.

  * Carry out testing on emergency lighting systems (BS EN 5266), fixed wire testing (BS EN 7671), and lightning protection systems (BS EN 62305), rectifying faults where necessary.

  * Assist in supervising subcontractors, carry out isolations, and follow SSOW, policies and procedures at all times.

To be successful for this Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer role you must have:

  * Previous experience of electrical and/or multi-disciplined maintenance, including LV, lighting, fire alarms, emergency lighting systems, nurse call, DHW, LTHW, and ventilation systems.

  * Good interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail and experience in Health & Safety legislation.

  * Ability to work independently using own initiative, with excellent customer awareness and team working skills.
