Recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities management contractor, we’re currently seeking an experienced and proactive Multi-Skilled Electrician to join the on-site engineering team at a major Amazon distribution centre.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-tech, fast-paced environment, offering long-term stability and professional development. You’ll be responsible for electrical maintenance, fault finding, and minor installations across this state-of-the-art site.
Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
*
Diagnosing and repairing faults across a range of systems (lighting, power, distribution boards, etc.)
*
Supporting other engineers across mechanical and building fabric works when required
*
Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations and site compliance standards
*
Working closely with the client and site facilities team to maintain operational standards
*
Keeping accurate maintenance records using site CAFM systems
Requirements:
*
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
*
18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
*
Proven experience in a similar facilities/maintenance role, ideally within a large-scale commercial or industrial environment
*
Ability to read electrical drawings and use diagnostic tools effectively
*
Multi-skilled capabilities in basic mechanical or HVAC systems – desirable
*
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
*
Must be flexible and willing to take part in overtime or on-call rota if required
