We’re looking for a hands-on Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join a small team at a leading food manufacturing site in Cambridge.
This is a varied role covering planned and reactive maintenance, diagnostics, documentation and supporting continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver planned and condition-based maintenance for electro-mechanical equipment
Carry out first-level reactive repairs and fault finding
Support continuous improvement projects and liaise with contractors
Keep accurate maintenance records and manage spares
Undertake risk assessments and maintain professional training
What you’ll need:
Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Good understanding of PLC logic and ability to read schematics
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with motion control, hydraulics and pneumatics
Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces
Experience with milling equipment is a bonus
