Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) | Edinburgh, supporting depots across the area | Shift working, 12-hour covering day and night | £52,700
Electrical bias skilled Maintenance Engineer with a recognised engineering, maintenance engineering or general engineering apprenticeship, or holding appropriate qualifications (HND/HNC) required. Perm employed, working autonomously.
* Experienced working for fast paced, automated environments, with proven and demonstratable experience of both electrical and mechanical repair
* Work effectively under pressure and within time constraints
* Full UK driving licence is required as travel between depots is part of this role.
You would be responsible for all aspects of any maintenance and breakdowns of equipment such as conveyors / automated sortation machines.
Extensive fault finding (electrical and mechanical) and carrying out all PPM and reactive maintenance of sortation equipment.
Carrying out all the servicing work which covers the completion of service reports and internal systems as required.
Using SCADA to aid fault finding of all systems.
Liaising with other departments, from Operations, IT, Security regarding any maintenance and repair work, in line with the business and operational needs.
Company van will be provided. Working 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 basis, covering 10am to 22:00 and 03:00am to 15:00
