Multi-skilled Engineer - Norfolk

Salary: £50,000 - £53,000 + overtime available 

12-hour shift pattern 

Commutable from; Downham Market, Kings Lynn, Wisbech, Swaffham, Hunstanton, Hicham, March, Holbeach, Spalding, Fakenham, Terrington St Clement, Watlington, Walpole St Peter, Boston, Ely, Peterborough, Dereham, North Walsham, Chatteris

Are you a multi skilled engineer or maintenance engineer or shift engineer looking for your next move in manufacturing? 

We are partnering with a market leading food manufacturing company, working in a highly skilled engineering team.

Key responsibilities:

* Deliver planned preventative maintenance and respond efficiently to breakdowns in a timely manner to maximise equipment uptime
* Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding on a variety of equipment
* Use system to record maintenance activity and planned maintenance and track KPI's
* Work effectively with external contractors and production teams to ensure smooth running of the factory
* Ensure full compliance with food safety, environmental and health and safety standards.

Key skills & experience:

* Time served or relevant engineering qualifications
* Previous maintenance or engineering experience within the FMCG industry 
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
* High attention to detail and health and safety standards
* PLC fault finding or diagnostics skills
