Astute's Renewables Team is partnering with a well-established and respected food manufacturer, supplying high-quality bakery products across the UK and European markets. With a strong reputation for quality, innovation and its people, we are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their Pulborough site.

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role comes with a salary of up to £46,000 depending on experience working a shift rotation of (Apply online only) 4on/4off. Plus, company benefits and free onsite parking.

Responsibilities and duties of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will:

Complete PPM and reactive breakdown maintenance on manufacturing/ industrial/ FMCG machinery to maximise equipment performance.
Conduct electrical fault-finding with quick response and rectification.
Perform activities on 3-phase and single-phase power.
Perform activities on motors, pumps, metal detectors, flow wrappers, ultrasonic utters and packaging equipment etc.
Other duties as required.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Time served, or engineering qualifications.
17th/18th edition wiring regulations.
Previous experience maintaining industrial machinery, ideally within FMCG.
Experience with welding is desirable.
 Personal skills

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role would suit someone who is:

Knowledgeable of both electrical and mechanical duties, with a bias to electrical.
Hands on and enjoys getting stuck in.
