Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) – FMCG – Redditch – £42,500
Are you a skilled engineer with a mechanical bias looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced FMCG environment? Our client, a well-established FMCG company based in Redditch, is looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team.
Role Details:
* Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts (6-2, 2-10)
* Salary: £42,500 per annum
* Location: Redditch
Key Requirements:
* Mechanically biased apprenticeship with some electrical experience
* Previous experience in the FMCG industry is highly desirable
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Responsibilities:
* Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on production machinery
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
* Work closely with the production team to minimize downtime
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures
* Assist with machinery upgrades and continuous improvement projects
