Mechanical Engineer - £42,000 + Van & Fuel Card - Temp to Perm - Isle of Wight
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team working across police stations on the Isle of Wight. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity offering a competitive salary of £42,000 per annum, along with a company van and fuel card.
Role Details:
Salary: £42,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (9 hours per day)
Location: Isle of Wight
Start: Immediate start available (subject to clearance)
Contract: Temp to Perm
Call-Outs: 1 in 5 rota (once clearance is completed)
Responsibilities:
Carrying out mechanical engineering tasks within police stations
Working closely alongside police officers and support staff
Supporting maintenance, repairs, and installations as required
Requirements:
NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
Valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Must be able to pass NPPV Level 2 / MMP Level Security Clearance
Full UK Driving Licence
