Multi-Skilled Engineer
Location: Evesham, Worcestershire
Salary: up to £55,000 DOE
Shifts: Rotating shifts (Mon-Fri 6am–3pm | Mon-Fri 10am–7pm | Tues-Sat 8am–5pm)
We’re looking for a proactive engineer to join a busy site in Evesham and help keep operations running smoothly.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you’ll:
*
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plant and equipment
*
Accurately record maintenance activities, repairs, equipment status and parts used
*
Respond promptly to breakdowns, faults or any plant issues
*
Communicate and escalate any unresolved issues
*
Maintain high standards of safety and hygiene during all work
*
Adapt parts and solutions creatively to minimise downtime in a fast-paced production environment
About You
You’ll have:
*
Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer in a food manufacturing environment
*
Electrical qualifications
*
BOAS certification (or relevant steam/boiler experience)
*
A keen eye for spotting faults and delivering effective solutions
*
Strong mechanical and electrical skills
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
Good communication skills and a reliable, proactive approach
*
A “can-do” attitude and willingness to muck in when needed
