Job Description
Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Full-Time & Long-Term Temp Positions Available)
We are currently seeking an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic and growing maintenance team. This is a hands-on role supporting multiple commercial sites across London and surrounding areas. We’re also looking for a long-term temporary engineer to start immediately and support our ongoing maintenance needs across three London-based sites.
*
Carry out both reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across multiple sites.
*
Complete works including (but not limited to):
*
Gas boiler checks
*
HVAC servicing
*
BMS checks
*
Emergency lighting & fire alarm testing
*
Booster pump & dosing pot maintenance
*
Water treatment tasks
*
Use maintenance software to manage daily/weekly tasks and log reports.
*
Source, request and collect materials and equipment as needed.
*
Maintain compliance with site H&S procedures and complete risk assessments (RAMs).
*
Ensure all workspaces and workshops are kept tidy and safe.
*
Escort subcontractors on-site when required.
What We’re Looking For
*
Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in a similar multiskilled maintenance role.
*
Strong skills across electrical, plumbing, and mechanical disciplines.
*
Comfortable using digital helpdesk/CMMS systems.
*
Professional, client-facing approach with a “can-do” attitude.
*
Willingness to support weekend work, overtime, and out-of-hours call-outs.
Qualifications & Requirements
*
NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent in a relevant trade (electrical, mechanical, or plumbing)
*
18th Edition or equivalent electrical qualification (preferred)
*
Valid UK Driving Licence (essential)
*
Basic IT literacy, including MS Office
*
English & Maths GCSE (Grade 5-9 / A*-C)
