Reliability Shift Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Multi-skilled Engineer / Shift Engineer - FMCG - Cambridgeshire
£44,500 - £46,500 + Overtime | Monday to Friday 3-Shift | 25 Days Holiday + Banks | Pension + Benefits
A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a proactive Maintenance Engineer to step into a Reliability Shift Engineer role at a leading FMCG manufacturer. This is a high-performing site with long-term investment, real training opportunities, and a strong safety culture.

* Shifts: Monday to Friday rotating 3-shift pattern (no weekends)

Key Responsibilities:
* Support proactive maintenance to minimise downtime
* Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent recurring faults
* Identify and drive Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities
* Take part in reliability-based initiatives and team projects
* Contribute to safety processes, including risk assessments
You'll Need:
* A multi-skilled maintenance background in a manufacturing environment
* A relevant electrical qualification (NVQ, BTEC, Diploma, City & Guilds etc.)
* A proactive mindset with a keen eye for improvement
* Willingness to get involved in H&S, reliability, and engineering performance
Location:
Easily commutable from Peterborough, Wisbech, Huntingdon, Ely, Downham Market, Spalding, Chatteris, and March.
