Job Description
Overview:
We are currently seeking a proactive and versatile Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a busy manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong mechanical and electrical skill set, capable of working across a variety of equipment and responding to both planned and reactive maintenance needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine preventative maintenance on a range of plant and machinery.
*
Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
*
Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
*
Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
*
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with health and safety regulations.
*
Keep accurate records of maintenance work and contribute to ongoing improvements.
*
Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
What We’re Looking For:
*
Time-served engineer or equivalent qualifications in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
*
Proven experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
*
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across multiple disciplines.
*
Familiarity with working in a fast-paced environment and managing shifting priorities.
*
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
*
Flexible with working hours and availability for shift or call-out work if required.
Desirable:

Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, or automated systems is an advantageBefore You Apply
