Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Engineer - Nights to join the Engineering & Manufacturing department within the food & beverage manufacturing industry. The role is based in East London and requires an individual with technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and systems.

Description
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery during night shifts.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
Ensure all engineering operations comply with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to minimise downtime and improve operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Carry out inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures.
Assist in the installation and testing of new machinery or upgrades.
Provide support during emergency breakdowns to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Profile
A successful Multi-Skilled Engineer - Nights should have:
Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
Strong technical skills in both mechanical and electrical engineering.
Experience working within the engineering and manufacturing sector, ideally in the a FMCG Manufacturing site.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a range of equipment and systems.
Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance requirements.
Ability to work effectively during night shifts and in a team environment.
A proactive approach to identifying and solving technical problems.
Good communication and record-keeping skills.
Comfortable working 12 hour night shifts, rotating 3 days and 4 days on/off.
Commutable to East London and have full permanent right to work in the UK.
