Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £42,000 - £44,000
Hours: Day Shifts Only - No Weekends
Shift Pattern:
Week 1: Mon-Thu: 6:00-15:00 | Fri: 6:00-12:00
Week 2: Mon-Thu: 8:30-17:30 | Fri: 6:00-12:00
Flexi Friday: Every fourth Friday off
About the Role:
Join our FMCG client's team as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a full-time, permanent role. You'll work across multiple disciplines, with an electrical focus preferred. This is a hands-on role with a great work-life balance, structured day shifts, and opportunities to develop and mentor apprentices.
What You'll Do:
Perform planned maintenance (PPM) to high standards
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, and PLCs
Install, commission, and improve plant and equipment
Dismantle, repair, and rebuild motors, gearboxes, and pumps
Support and mentor junior engineers
Carry out line changes and other engineering tasks
About You:
Time-served with a strong electrical background (50/50 or electrical bias)
Confident working across multiple engineering areas
Willing to learn and develop further skills
