Maintenance Engineer (Nights)
Peterborough (relocating to Market Deeping in 2025)
circa £50,000 + Excellent Benefits
Sunday – Thursday | 22:00 – 06:00
An established and forward-thinking manufacturer is looking for a Night Shift Maintenance Engineer to join their growing engineering team. With a brand-new facility opening in Market Deeping in 2025, this is a fantastic long-term opportunity to join a business that’s investing in its future — and yours.
You'll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly by tackling breakdowns, carrying out planned maintenance, and supporting process improvements.
What You’ll Be Doing
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of production machinery
Electrical and mechanical fault finding
Supporting production teams to minimise downtime and improve reliability
Ensuring safe working practices and accurate maintenance recordsWhat We’re Looking For
Multi-skilled engineer (electrical bias preferred)
Confident working with 3-phase systems, motors, sensors, and control panels
Mechanical understanding of gearboxes, rollers, pneumatics, and basic hydraulics
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (or time-served)
