My Client a leader in their field are looking for an experienced and highly capable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer e. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a respected name in aerospace manufacturing, supporting some of the industry’s most prestigious clients.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll be working in a dynamic environment producing product for the aerospace sector. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring our equipment and facilities run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance of Buildings facilities and Equipment and ensuring compliance
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
* Adhere to and promote health, safety, and environmental compliance
* Conduct weekly fire alarm and fire exit checks
* Oversee routine site maintenance and asset management
* Create and implement maintenance procedures
* Source components, fixtures, and fittings as needed
* Schedule and manage external inspections and subcontractors
* Maintain consumable inventories
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and problem solving
Candidate Profile
* Proven experience in a site maintenance engineering role
* Strong mechanical background and good electrical knowledge
* 18th Edition certification desirable
* Welding skills and forklift licence are an advantage
* Comfortable working at heights
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Able to remain calm under pressure and work well as part of a team
* PC literate
Key Details
Working Hours: Mon–Thu: 07:30–16:00
Fri: 07:30–13:30
Holidays: 33 days including bank holidays
