Job Description
Position: Multi-Skilled Engineer
Salary: £50,000 - £53,000
Shift: Monday - Friday (Double Days)
06:00 - 14:00/14:00 - 22:00
Location: Essex (Commutable from Basildon, Dartford, Gravesend, Romford, Southend-on-sea, Tilbury)

Main Responsibilities
* Operate within Health and Safety guidelines at all times.
* Carry out maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal plant performance.
* Perform root cause analysis on component failures and implement improvement measures.
* Respond to and resolve electrical and mechanical breakdowns, including fault-finding.
* Participate in an on-call rota for breakdown cover (after satisfactory completion of probation).
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
* Plan and execute small-scale engineering projects.
* Specify and source replacement parts and equipment.
What we are looking for:
* Strong electro-mechanical and process control engineering skills.
* Clear and confident communication abilities.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively while upholding high safety standards.
* City & Guilds qualified or time-served multi-skilled engineer.
* Competent working with voltages up to 415V.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
* Knowledge of PLC systems is advantageous.
* Fabrication and welding experience is beneficial.
* Proven experience in multi-skilled engineering roles.
