Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £51,380 with potential to get to £56,500
Company location: Evesham, Worcestershire
Day Shifts:
4x on 4x off
6am – 6pmMulti-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Benefits:
Competitive Salary of £51,380 with the hope to increase to £56,500 in the first 12 – 18 months

Orion is partnered with a fast-paced manufacturing company located near Evesham which is recruiting for an electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
All applicants must have food manufacturing experience and the right to work long term in the UK without sponsorship.
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Experience
Must be electrically biased and hold a UK recognised engineering qualification in electrical engineering.
Must have atleast 3x years experience in maintenance in food manufacturing or similar industry
Must have strong mechanical knowledge – Multi skilled is KEY!
Must have the right to work long term in the UK without the need for sponsorship
Must have experience in food manufacturing
Must have experience working with production line machinery – conveyors, slicers, chillers, packaging machinery etc..
Must have experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment
Experience fault finding with PLC’s
Strong communication skills
Continuous improvement experience and mind set
Machinery installation experience
Experience with sensors, panel bords, motors, relays etc..
Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
To work along side Maintenance team with reactive and planned maintenance
Maintenance on production line machinery such as conveyors, slicers, chillers, wash plants, packaging machinery etc..
Machinery installation & modifications
Carry out autonomous and preventative maintenance tasks competently and correctly, recording work carried out in appropriate documentation.
Ensure detailed hand overs between shifts are detailed and add value.
Multi-Skilled Engineer Qualifications/Experience:
ONC/HNC OR EQUIVALENT IN ENGINEERING (Ideally electrical but open to mechanical with strong electrical experienve)
Food manufacturing experience is essential
FMCG Experience
