Job Description
Shift Pattern
12-hour shifts on a 4 on / 4 off rotation, alternating between:
* Days: 06:00–18:00
* Nights: 18:00–06:00
What You’ll Do – and What You’ll Need
* Perform planned maintenance on the site’s sortation system, ensuring all work follows the maintenance schedule and manufacturer standards
* Respond to breakdowns and reactive tasks, resolving them efficiently and to a high standard
* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults across the sortation system and wider site equipment
* Take a proactive approach to improvement opportunities in system reliability and performance
* Complete repair and enhancement work across site equipment and infrastructure
* Ensure all work and downtime are accurately logged in our CMMS, clearly communicating technical details and handovers to the next shift and escalating where needed
* Qualifications and Experience Required: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Minimum of City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline (or equivalent)
* Solid experience and strong working knowledge of automation and PLC systemsBefore You Apply
