Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrically Biased) | Guildford | Rotating Shifts
Location: Guildford (Static Site)
Salary: Up to £43,000
Shifts: Rotating Early and Late Shifts (e.g. 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrically Biased) to join our on-site facilities maintenance team in Guildford. This is a static role operating on a rotating shift pattern, providing electrical and mechanical support across a high-profile building.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks on electrical systems
*
Diagnose and repair faults across building services, including lighting, power, HVAC, and control systems
*
Assist with mechanical tasks as needed, including basic plumbing, pumps, and AHUs
*
Ensure all work complies with health & safety and statutory regulations
*
Maintain service logs, reports, and shift handovers
What We’re Looking For:
*
Recognised electrical qualification (e.g. City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ, or equivalent)
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
*
Multi-skilled experience with ability to handle basic mechanical tasks
*
Previous experience in a facilities/building services environment
*
Proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team
*
Flexible and willing to work rotating shifts (early and late)
