The Role Respond promptly to mechanical and electrical breakdowns, diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs to minimise downtime Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a range of production machinery Complete end of shift reports, logging work completed Support continuous improvement projects and contribute ideas to enhance plant performance Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures Participate in on-call system for out of hours maintenance About You Time-served Maintenance Engineer with relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ3/HNC/HND) Multi-skilled, able to attend to both mechanical and electrical breakdowns Strong, technical fault-finding skills Confident fault-finding on Siemens PLCs (I/O level) Experience with AC/DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and pipefitting Proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team What's on Offer Competitive salary with overtime opportunities and great package No weekend shifts (unless working overtime) A stable, growing business with long-term contracts and investment in new technology Supportive team culture with opportunities for training and development The satisfaction of working on varied, technically interesting equipment in a business that values engineering excellence E.g shift: Mon- Thurs nights, 5 days off, Wed - Fri days, 2 off, Mon-Tue days, 2 off, Fri Day, 4 off At Morgan Ryder we can provide you with a full range of employment opportunities from short term and fixed term temporary vacancies to permanent positions.
