We are supporting the recruitment for a large family-owned business in Grantham that are looking to bolster their management team with a multi skilled maintenance supervisor on a permanent basis.
What’s the role all about?
As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Supervisor at Grantham, you will be responsible for the coordination and supervision of all maintenance personnel, maintenance activities and teams at the Grantham facility.
You will also:
* Develop and implement maintenance & operational plans for your area of responsibility.
* Provide leadership and supervision in your area of responsibility.
* Ensure departmental compliance with legal, statutory and regulatory requirements.
* Check departmental training matrix and identify/report any training needs.
* Ensure all ppm schedules are in place, in date and being worked to. Update HDS where required.
* Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed to a satisfactory standard.
* Ensure that all noted remedial actions from statutory examinations and in house ppm inspections are completed within the timescales set.
* Ensure health and safety requirements are met. 100% compliance to Company H&S procedures
* Improve productivity & efficiency.
* Co-ordinate and supervise all maintenance activity.
Hours:
Working Monday to Thursday 6.00am – 3.45pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break. There is lots of overtime available too so plenty of opportunity to increase earnings.
What are we looking for in a Multi skilled maintenance supervisor?
* Qualified with formal Engineering accreditation (EITB), Academic qualifications (City & Guilds / BTEC), or the equivalent.
* IEE 17th edition wiring regulations desirable
* A reliable mechanical and electrical maintenance background with a proven mechanical and electrical competency skills and certification
Ideally you should be able to evidence:
* Maintaining CNC machine tools
* Maintaining PLC controlled machinery (Siemens preferred)
* Maintaining Pneumatics and hydraulics systems
* Using planned preventative maintenance systems
* Maintaining material handling conveyor systems
* Completing electrical installation work
