Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £43,000 + 5% Bonus
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Double Days)
Job Type: Permanent
We’re currently recruiting for a highly reputable and stable manufacturer who are seeking a skilled and motivated engineer to join their maintenance team. Whether you're mechanically or electrically biased – if you’ve got a strong maintenance background and a proactive approach, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to breakdowns
* Troubleshooting and fault finding on machinery and equipment
* Supporting the installation and commissioning of new equipment
* Working collaboratively with the production and engineering teams to improve downtime and overall efficiency
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and company standards
Requirements for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician:
* Time-served engineer with relevant qualifications (mechanical or electrical)
* Experience working in a manufacturing/production environmentStrong fault-finding skills – both electrically and mechanically preferred
* Team player with a proactive and hands-on attitude
* Ability to work efficiently on a double-day shift pattern
