Job Description
PS Ltd are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Warehouse Operative for our reputable client based in Ripley.
About the Role:
This is a varied role that requires flexibility, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills. You’ll be responsible for handling materials, operating forklifts, completing stock checks, and supporting warehouse operations to ensure a smooth-running service for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Physical movement of materials using manual handling.
* Loading/unloading vehicles using both manual handling and MHE.
* Operation of Counterbalance, PPT, and Reach Truck (training can be provided if required).
* Occasional van runs (e.g. driving element is limited.)
* Receipt and despatch of materials using warehouse systems (training provided).
* Stock checks and accurate counting of items across the factory.
* Banding and wrapping of materials.
* General warehouse duties as required.
Requirements:
* Physically fit and able to complete manual handling tasks.
* Valid Counterbalance licence (essential) – evidence of certification required.
* Reach Truck & PPT licences/experience preferred (training can be provided for the right person).
* Basic PC skills – experience with warehouse management systems desirable.
* Good communication skills – this is a customer-facing role (with Rolls-Royce).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
Hours:
* Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
* Friday: 08:00 – 15:30
* 39 hours per week (please note: start time may change to 07:00 depending on client requirements. Finish time adjusted accordingly)
