Multi Skilled Operator – Recycling
£28,548 including shift allowance, plus benefits
Days only shift – 4 on / 4 off
Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire
MC Technical Recruitment is currently supporting the search for a Multi Skilled Operator to join the team at a busy and vital Resource Recovery and Recycling Facility in Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire. This site supports the UK's climate-positive future by safely processing waste into reusable resources.
As a Multi Skilled Operator, you will be responsible for:
Sorting and separating waste streams using fixed and mobile plant
Operating equipment such as 360 grabs and front-end loaders
Performing regular inspections and daily checks on plant equipment
Supporting maintenance teams with minor on-site repair tasks
Maintaining high housekeeping standards across the site
Adhering to all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements
Other duties as required
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Experience in a production or recycling environment
Valid mobile plant licences (e.g. 360 grab, FEL)
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
Awareness of workplace Health & Safety practices
A team-oriented mindset and good communication skills
