Multi-Skilled Project/Commissioning Technician
Electrical Bias
Responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning of various systems and equipment, within an AD environment. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will ensure that systems are installed correctly, function as intended, and meet all relevant safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Assembly: Installing, assembling, and connecting mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic components according to specifications and schematics.
Testing and Commissioning: Conducting various tests to verify the functionality and performance of systems, including electrical testing, loop checks, and functional testing.
Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and repairing faults in systems and equipment, involving complex technical issues.
Documentation and Reporting: Creating and maintaining accurate records of testing, commissioning, and any repairs or modifications.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensuring that all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Collaboration and Communication: Working effectively with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
Training and Support: Providing guidance and support to other team members, potentially including training on new systems or procedures.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, or equipment

Essential Skills:
* Industry Experience: Must have extensive experience working within a process environment, ideally with an AD background
* Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical and electronic systems,
* Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
* Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate installation and testing of systems.
* Safety Awareness: Prioritizing safety in all work activities.
* Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with team members and other stakeholders.
* Time Management: Working efficiently to meet deadlines.
* Adaptability: Being able to work with a variety of systems and adapt to new technologies.
NE Based - Flexibility required for working hours/locations
Salary - £45 000 to £50 000 + company benefits – work vehicle
