Multi-Skilled Engineer – Continental Shifts (Days & Nights)
Location: Canary Wharf, London
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Continental – Days & Nights
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
We are recruiting for a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a leading FM provider at a prestigious commercial site in Canary Wharf. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong mechanical and electrical capabilities, particularly with a solid understanding of chiller systems and critical building services.
Key Responsibilities
Perform planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems
Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, pumps, boilers, AHUs, fan coil units, and chillers
Operate and monitor BMS systems to ensure optimal building performance
Conduct fault finding and repairs across building infrastructure
Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
Liaise with subcontractors and support site operations
Requirements
NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (dual-skilled preferred)
Proven experience in commercial building services within FM environments
Strong working knowledge of chiller systems and HVAC infrastructure
Experience working on continental shift patterns
Additional certifications (e.g. F-Gas, 18th Edition, Legionella) are desirable
