Job Description

Multi-Skilled Technician (Panel / Paint / MET) – Ilkeston
Paying up to £53,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Technician to join a busy accident repair centre in Ilkeston, covering panel, paint, and MET work.

Key Responsibilities:

  * 

    Carry out panel repairs including welding, dent removal, and realignment

  * 

    Perform paint preparation, mixing, and spraying to manufacturer standards

  * 

    Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs on vehicles

  * 

    Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and productivity targets

  * 

    Work flexibly across different disciplines as required

Requirements:

  * 

    Proven experience in panel, paint, and/or MET roles within a crash repair environment

  * 

    Strong knowledge of welding, refinishing, and vehicle systems

  * 

    ATA accreditation is desirable but not essential

  * 

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  * 

    High attention to detail and commitment to quality
