Job Description
Multi Skilled Trades Operative
Corby, Northamptonshire
3 to 6 month ongoing contract
Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm
£22 p/hr umbrella
Key Responsibilities
Carry out building and maintenance works including:
Kitchen fitting
Tiling
Flooring installation
Basic plumbing and carpentry tasks
Prepare empty properties for re-letting.
Complete repairs in occupied homes where needed.
Use council vehicles to travel between sites in Kettering and Corby.
Essential Requirements
Experience:
Proven history in multiskilled trade roles within social housing or similar.
Skilled in kitchen fitting, tiling, flooring, carpentry, and basic plumbing.
Experience with void and repair work.
Qualifications:
Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Carpentry, Plumbing, or Multiskilled Trades.
Current Asbestos Awareness Certificate (must provide copy).
Driving:
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Ability to use council vehicles.
Flexibility to work across Kettering and Corby depots.
