Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Multi-Trade Team Leader/Inspector to join our clients Repairs & Maintenance team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that their homes are safe, well-maintained, and meet high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
As a hands-on leader, you’ll supervise a small team of skilled operatives across multiple trades—carpentry, plumbing, plastering, electrical, and general maintenance—while carrying out inspections, quality checks, and ensuring all work complies with regulations and service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a multi-trade team delivering repairs and maintenance across housing stock
*
Carry out pre- and post-inspections of works to ensure quality, compliance, and value for money
*
Monitor team performance, productivity, and adherence to health and safety standards
*
Provide technical advice and mentoring to operatives and contractors
*
Liaise with tenants, colleagues, and external partners to resolve issues and deliver an excellent customer experience
*
Identify and report recurring defects or property issues, recommending solutions or preventative maintenance
About You
*
Proven experience in a multi-trade or building maintenance environment, ideally within social housing
*
Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on quality and customer service
*
Good understanding of H&S, building regulations, and inspection processes
*
Full UK driving licence
