Multi-Trade Operative (Carpenter) - Property Maintenance Jobs in Horndean / Petersfield
📍 Location: Horndean, Petersfield & Surrounding Areas (e.g. Southampton)
🕒 Hours: Full-Time - 40 per week (Mon-Fri)
💷 Pay: £23.50 Umbrella PAYE OR £20.15 PAYE (£17.99 base + holiday pay)

The Role
We're looking for skilled Multi-Trade Operatives with a carpentry bias to deliver responsive repairs and maintenance across occupied and empty residential properties. You'll be the go-to for carpentry repairs and installations, but also expected to carry out additional multi-trade tasks such as plumbing, plastering, fencing, and groundworks.
Key Responsibilities
Carpentry repairs and installations in customers' homes
Multi-trade repairs (plumbing, plastering, fencing, masonry, groundworks)
Complete jobs efficiently to a high standard and 'right first time'
Record work using a smartphone/tablet system
Maintain van stock, tools, and company vehicle
Take part in out-of-hours emergency rota (as required)
What You'll Need
NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (or time-served equivalent)
Multi-skilled across other trades
Previous experience in property repairs / social housing / maintenance
Full UK Driving Licence (clean)
Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently
This role suits:
