Job Description

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.

They have a vacancy for an experienced multi trader to cover the Lincoln area carrying out general maintenance and within domestic social housing properties on a local Housing Association contract.

The Role:

  * General carpentry such as boxing in and making good

  * Plumbing maintenance and repairs

  * Some knowledge of electrical works

  * Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients

  * Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements:

  * 2 years’ experience as a multi-trader

  * Experience in carrying out carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work

  * Formal Qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ

  * Full UK Driving Licence

  * No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)

The Package:

  * 40 hours per week Monday to Friday

  * Overtime paid at hourly rate

  * Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.

  * Salary: £31,500 per annum (DOE)

  * Out of Hours call out on rota basis. Paid either on price per job or hourly decided by engineer

  * Monthly bonus

  * OTE £35,000+ per annum

  * 20 days holiday plus bank holiday (holiday entitlement increases with service)
