Job Description
We are currently recruiting two skilled Multi Traders to join a well-established maintenance contractor working across Somerset and Dorset. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance for long-term, stable employment with a respected and growing company.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Covering Somerset & Dorset
Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent
Role Overview:
You'll be carrying out a range of responsive and planned maintenance tasks in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidates will have a solid background in either carpentry or plumbing but be confident in turning their hand to other trades as needed.
We are looking for:
Multi Trader - Carpentry Bias
Multi Trader - Plumbing Bias
Key Responsibilities:
General maintenance and repair works (including basic plumbing, plastering, tiling, and painting)
First and second fix carpentry OR plumbing installations/repairs depending on your trade bias
Responsive maintenance and fault finding
Working independently or as part of a small team
Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
Requirements:
Proven experience as a multi-skilled tradesperson
Trade qualification or NVQ (desirable but not essential)
Carpentry or plumbing background (depending on role)
Full UK driving licence (preferred - company van may be provided for the right candidate)
Good customer service skills and a proactive attitude
