You'll handle end-to-end installations with precision and care, focusing on wet room transformations. Typical responsibilities include:
* Preparation & Strip-Outs: Safely isolate plumbing, remove existing baths, tiles, and flooring to prep the space.
* First-Fix Plumbing & Structural Work: Reroute pipework, build studwork for electrics/plumbing, dry-line or bond walls, and install Tufform trays with gravity waste systems.
* Floor & Surface Prep: Lay plywood overlays and ensure a level subfloor ready for specialist safety flooring (laid by dedicated teams).
* Tiling & Finishing: Expertly tile ~10m² of wet areas and splashbacks (using standard 250x250mm tiles), fit new basins, semi-pedestals, showers, and 750mm wet room screens.
* Client-Centric Touches: Install grab rails in optimal positions after consulting with clients, refit WCs as needed, and complete clean/seal for a polished handover.
Note: Electrics and final flooring are managed by specialist partners, allowing you to focus on your core trades.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in plumbing, tiling, and carpentry – essential for high-standard adaptations.
* Strong independent working ability, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills to build trust with clients.
* A valid CSCS card, full UK driving license, and right-to-work eligibility.
* NVQ Level 2/3 in relevant trades is a plus, but hands-on expertise speaks volumes.
