Job Title: Multi Trade Operative (Electrician) - 15 Positions Available
Location: Various Location: East London, Bow, Highbury & Islington, Tottenham, Romford, Chigwell, Barking & Dagenham
Pay Rate: £24.24 per hour (Umbrella)
Job Type: Temporary / Contract
About the Role
We are currently recruiting 15 skilled Multi Trade Operatives (Electricians) to cover various locations across East London and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance, responsive repairs, void works, and property MOTs related to your specialist trade and secondary trades. You will deliver all tasks efficiently and within deadlines, maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out maintenance, responsive repairs, void works, and property MOTs across your trade and additional trades
Maintain and regularly replenish stock of materials, recording usage accurately on PDA
Specify and order specialist materials as needed while minimising wastage
Complete all paperwork including job tickets, standby log sheets, material orders, and vehicle reports in real time
Liaise with managers on work ticket updates, cancellations, and follow-on tasks
Prepare written reports for area managers as required
Ensure company vehicle is used in line with company policy
Safely operate and maintain tools and plant; report any loss or damage promptly
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety regulations
Carry out risk assessments and report any unsafe conditions or practices
Achieve CSCS Scheme recognition and uphold company standards
Represent the company professionally at all times, wearing corporate workwear
Deliver quality workmanship independently, meeting agreed appointments with tenants
Inspect completed work to ensure quality before leaving site
Supervise apprentices if assigned and ensure the quality of their work
Be flexible and responsive to workload demands and management requests
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience as a Multi Trade Operative, with a strong electrical background
Relevant qualifications and CSCS card (or working towards)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple sites daily
Commitment to health and safety and quality workmanship
