Multiple Roles – HS2 Projects (Birmingham)
Quantity Surveyors | Site Managers | Site Engineers
Location: Birmingham (HS2 Projects)
Rate: Negotiable (DOE)

Project Overview:
Approach Personnel are currently supporting major HS2 infrastructure works across Birmingham and are looking to onboard experienced Quantity Surveyors, Site Managers, and Site Engineers. These are long-term opportunities working on one of the UK’s most high-profile civil engineering projects.

Roles Available:

1. Quantity Surveyor (QS)

  * Cost management and commercial reporting

  * Managing subcontractor packages and valuations

  * Preparing and reviewing contracts

  * Working closely with project and site teams to ensure cost control

2. Site Manager

  * Overseeing day-to-day site operations

  * Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

  * Managing subcontractors, labour, and materials

  * Maintaining H&S and quality standards

  * Assisting Project Manager as required

3. Site Engineer

  * Setting out and surveying works

  * Ensuring technical compliance with drawings and specifications

  * Managing QA documentation and site records

  * Supporting site teams with engineering expertise

Requirements (All Roles):

  * Previous experience working on major infrastructure / civils projects (HS2 experience desirable)

  * Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid at work (Site Managers)

  * Relevant qualifications for role (e.g. Degree/HNC/HND in Construction/Civil Engineering or Commercial Management)

  * Strong understanding of health & safety and site processes

  * Full UK driving licence preferred
