Multi-Skilled Engineer – Canary Wharf, London
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Location: Canary Wharf, London
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team at a prestigious site in Canary Wharf, London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong engineer looking to work within one of London’s key business districts, carrying out a varied range of hard FM duties across a complex and high-profile environment.
What will you deliver?
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for the safe and effective operation, maintenance and repair of critical building services.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining, operating and repairing HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems
* Supporting fire safety and water treatment systems
* Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
* Ensuring all works are completed within agreed SLAs and compliance requirements
* Carrying out fault finding and technical problem solving
* Completing risk assessments, permits to work and compliance documentation
* Working closely with customers, colleagues and subcontractors
* Using CAFM systems to manage and update tasks
* Supporting technical quotations and chargeable works
* Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times
* Working flexibly across different disciplines and supporting the wider engineering team when required
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience working as a Multi-Skilled Engineer / Building Services Engineer
* A strong background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering
* Experience within a commercial, critical or high-profile building environment
* Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
* Strong understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance
* Good knowledge of health & safety and compliance procedures
* Experience using CAFM systems; Planon knowledge would be advantageous
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* A flexible, proactive “can-do” attitude
* Willingness to work a complex day and night shift pattern
