Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer – 6-Month FTC - CAN BECOME PERMANENT
📍 Location: Skipton
💰 £50,000 - £60,000 (Pro Rata) – Based on Experience

We’re on the lookout for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing FMCG business on a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract – with the real potential for this to go permanent based on continued growth.
The Role:
As a key part of the maintenance team, you'll be hands-on with general maintenance across a wide range of packaging machinery and equipment. This role is 50/50 mechanical and electrical, so we’re after a true multiskilled engineer who enjoys variety and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
🔧 Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on packaging equipment
⚡ Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults
📦 Working within a fast-paced FMCG environment
🧰 Ensuring minimal downtime and supporting production efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
✅ A strong multiskilled background – ideally 50/50 mechanical & electrical
✅ Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 / ONC / HNC / Apprentice-trained)
✅ Experience working in an FMCG or manufacturing environment
✅ A positive, proactive approach with a passion for fixing things
