Multiskilled Engineer or Junior Engineer
Location: Ashford
Monday to Friday - Day shift
Full time
We are recruiting a Multiskilled Engineer to support a hands-on production and workshop environment. The role involves mechanical and electrical support across heavy machinery, tooling, and process plant, with a strong focus on one-off and bespoke manufacture.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out mechanical and electrical production tasks
Assist with maintenance of machinery and workshop equipment
Support cold weld checks and testing
Assist with loading and unloading large items
Carry out general workshop and building maintenance
Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
Strong mechanical and basic electrical skills
Able to work effectively within a small team
Willingness to learn and adapt
Desirable
Forklift or gantry crane training
Experience with lathes, grinders, and drilling machinery
BS7671 (18th Edition)
