Job Description

This role as an Electromechanical Fitter / Installer offers the chance to be part of a dynamic and innovative team, where no two days are the same. What You Will Do:
- Assemble and install bespoke automation machinery and systems, both in-house and on customer sites.
- Collaborate with the workshop manager and services director to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, following written instructions and method statements.
- Work with electric and pneumatic systems, including valves, to build medium-sized assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Travel internationally (primarily USA and Canada) for installations, with trips typically lasting up to two weeks, approximately five times a year.
- Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring all work adheres to established guidelines.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical and/or Electrical Fitter/Assembler, ideally with a relevant apprenticeship or qualification.
- Strong skills using hand and power tools, as well as experience working with industrial machinery and conveyors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and communication skills.
- A flexible attitude towards travel and a willingness to learn new skills, including basic electrical work.
- A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
