Job Description
We're Hiring: Multi-Skilled Joiner/Carpenter – Birmingham (Kingstanding)
Location: College Road, Kingstanding | Contract: Permanent | Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Mon–Fri)
Salary: Up to 32k plus a van, with a great benefits package
We looking for a Multi-Skilled Joiner to join our team, working on the repairs and maintenance contract for Birmingham City Council properties across the city. If you’ve got strong joinery skills and experience with general maintenance tasks, we want to hear from you!
🛠️ What You'll Be Doing:
*
Construct, install, and repair doors, windows, cabinets, skirting boards, and kitchen units
*
Fit locks, handles, hinges, and other fittings
*
Carry out minor plumbing tasks like fixing leaks or replacing taps
*
Respond to maintenance requests and complete jobs efficiently
*
Maintain accurate job records and materials used
*
Support additional maintenance tasks as required

👷 What You’ll Need:
*
NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in Joinery (or equivalent)
*
Valid CSCS card
*
Experience in joinery installation and repair
*
Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
*
Good understanding of Health & Safety in construction
*
Self-motivated with strong time management
*
Prior experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role
*
Full UK driving licence is essential
