The role of Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer within the FMCG sector involves maintaining and improving equipment to ensure smooth production processes.

Description

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to minimise downtime.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during all tasks.
Work collaboratively with production teams to optimise equipment performance.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Contribute to TPM activities, root cause analysis, and equipment upgradesProfile

A successful Multiskilled Engineer should have:

A recognised qualification in engineering, such as mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics.
Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance technician within FMCG or high-volume manufacturing
Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems
Relevant engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
Relevant electrical qualification - desirable
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, shift-based environment
Safety-conscious, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team 

Job Offer

Salary is circa £46,400 per annum.
