Job Description
Pennine Recruitment (acting as an employment business) are delighted to be recruiting 2x General Operatives/FLT Counterbalance Drivers to work with our client in the Castleford area.
In this role you will be working in a recycling environment so any previous recycling experience would be ideal. This company has fantastic pathways of career progression for suitable candidates.
The role will include (but not necessarily limited to)
* Machine operation - Feeding machines and working on a conveyor belt
* Produce a number of reports based on the polymers that have been sorted
* Complete all administrative tasks whilst onsite
* Minding machines within the facility
* Ability to lift/move heavy objects due to the nature of the business
* Using an FLT Counterbalance truck to move materials
The successful candidate will ideally have the following experience:
* Minimum of 12 months within a manufacturing/recycling role
* Must hold accredited FLT Counterbalance license
* The ability to work both as part of a small friendly team or work on own initiative
* Ability to work to targets/KPIs
Hours of Work
Weekly rotating shifts Monday to Friday (Must work all 3 shifts)
* 06:00 - 14:00
* 14:00 - 22:00
* 22:00 - 06:00
Rates of Pay
Remuneration is £13.32 per hour with any overtime paid at a premium (1.5x Mon-Fri, 1.75x Saturday and 2x Sunday)
