Job Description

FBR Recruitment are seeking an experienced Multi-Trades Person for a 1-week assignment carrying out a variety of internal and external works on a residential property. The ideal candidate will be skilled, reliable, and able to work independently across several trades.

Duties Include:

Carpentry & General Repairs

  * 

    Install dado rail

  * 

    Replace toilet seat in WC (materials on site)

  * 

    Fit missing doorstops in downstairs WC and loft bathroom

  * 

    Install “black box” feature where bricks have been painted – including fitting Leadax

Roof & External Works

  * 

    Cover over master en-suite extractor fan outlet (fan cover supplied)

  * 

    Redirect outside downpipe on first-floor flat roof and install fan cover (supplied)

  * 

    Repoint loft wall using ready-mix mortar (supplied, access via flat roof)

Tiling & Finishing

  * 

    Re-tile hallway areas where edges are rough or tiles are not flush (approx. 2 days)

  * 

    Clean grout in kitchen, guest bathroom, and WC

Additional Tasks

  * 

    Clear out basement and loft eaves and bring waste to front of property for collection

  * 

    Potential installation of radiator covers at bottom of radiator pipes (may not be on site until after Christmas)

Requirements:

  * 

    Proven experience across carpentry, tiling, and general maintenance

  * 

    Ability to work safely at height (flat-roof access required)

  * 

    Own tools and transport

  * 

    Two checkable references

  * 

    Reliability and good attention to detail
