Salary: MPS1 (ECT Scale)
Music ECT required from September 2025 to join a thriving and forward-thinking secondary school in Reading.
Exceptional facilities including practice rooms, recording studio, and performance hall.
Deliver Music lessons across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to support extracurricular ensembles.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Music ECT to become part of a vibrant and creative Music Department at a well-regarded secondary school in Reading. The department encourages innovation, individual student growth, and engagement in performance arts at all levels.
Experience and Qualifications
*
Degree in Music or closely related field
*
PGCE or SCITT with QTS by July 2025
*
Ability to teach a broad and balanced curriculum, including theory, composition, and practical skills
*
Experience or interest in leading ensembles, choirs, or bands
*
Legal entitlement to work in the UK
