Tradewind Recruitment are thrilled to be working with a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Newham, who are seeking a talented and passionate Music Teacher to join their thriving Performing Arts Department from January to July.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and inspiring Music Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering students' musical skills and a love of performing. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to extra-curricular activities such as choirs, ensembles, and school performances, helping to develop a rich cultural life for students.

Start Date: January - July
 Salary: London MPS (Main Pay Scale)

This client is a large, mixed secondary school in Newham, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, with inspectors noting its "strong leadership, committed staff, and a culture where students are motivated to learn and succeed."

The school prides itself on offering high-quality music education in a supportive and well-resourced environment. Teachers enjoy working with motivated students and have access to excellent facilities, including practice rooms, performance halls, and a wide range of musical instruments.

The school is conveniently located with access to DLR, Underground, and multiple bus routes, making it easily reachable from across East London and surrounding areas.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
A degree in Music or a related subject
Experience teaching Music at Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of music
Ability to teach a range of musical styles and lead extra-curricular music activities
