Location: Farnborough Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS A highly regarded and ambitious secondary school in Farnborough is looking for a passionate and skilled Music Teacher to join its arts faculty for a September start. The school boasts an impressive musical tradition and is committed to providing all students with the opportunity to develop their performance and creative skills through a rich and engaging music programme. Your responsibilities will include: * Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, and potentially A-Level or BTEC depending on experience. * Leading ensembles, music clubs, and preparing students for performances. * Developing students’ skills in composition, performance, and listening. * Maintaining and expanding the department’s extra-curricular offering. * Encouraging the uptake of GCSE Music and facilitating access to instrumental learning. * Creating a classroom culture that nurtures creativity, precision, and resilience. The ideal candidate will have: * QTS and specialist training in Music education. * Experience teaching Music in a secondary setting and a record of strong outcomes. * Excellent piano/keyboard skills or instrumental expertise preferred. * An engaging and adaptive teaching style. * A commitment to providing inclusive access to music education.
