MUSIC TEACHER
A fantastic opportunity for a qualified Music Teacher to join a Good Academy in the borough of Newham from September 2025.

This large academy based in the heard of Newham is currently looking for an experienced qualified Music Teacher to join their team from September. The successful Head Teacher together with his very forward thinking Senior Leadership Team are fully focused on achieving the best possible educational outcomes for their pupils. There is a big emphasis on ensuring that pupils achieve their goals by making sure that they are taught by skilled specialist teachers who really know their subjects. Staff are encouraged to plan together, and this will involve both teaching and support staff affiliated with each department. There are high expectations of teaching staff to ensure that the lessons they are delivering are of a good standard, as the more engaging the lesson, the more likely the children will behave well.

Music Teacher
Here lies the opportunity to join not only a great school, but a very successful Music department. They are looking to appoint a talented and dynamic Music Teacher who will be responsible for teaching Music to KS3 and KS4. The department work hard to ensure that all students studying Music will be creative in the way they perform, listen to, explore, create, and appreciate Music. Students will have opportunities to make music that plays to their strengths and challenges them to develop as musicians. Regular extra-curricular activities are run throughout each term, and all students, irrelevant of ability are encourages to participate. Music is a popular subject at this large academy, with many students choosing to continue it at KS4. The department are looking for a Music Teacher who shares the same passion about their subject and desire to see their students succeed. With varying levels of experience within the department, both experienced and newly qualified Music Teachers are encouraged to apply for this post.

To be considered for this Music Teacher role you must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
PGCE in Music
