Are you a highly effective and results-oriented Music Teacher with a deep understanding of advanced musical theory, performance, and composition, and a demonstrable track record of securing excellent progress at A-Level? In this crucial full-time role, with a significant focus on Key Stage 5 (A-Level Music), you will:
* Maximise Student Achievement: Be instrumental in ensuring excellent student outcomes in Key Stage 3, GCSE Music, and particularly A-Level Music, equipping them with the sophisticated analytical, practical, and compositional skills required for top university and conservatoire placements.
* Lead Advanced Ensembles: Direct and develop high-level musical ensembles (e.g., chamber orchestra, advanced choir, jazz band), providing exceptional performance opportunities for gifted musicians.
* Deliver Engaging and Rigorous Curriculum: Utilise your expertise to deliver meticulously structured and challenging lessons that align with the demands of the A-Level Music curriculum, fostering deep understanding of complex harmony, counterpoint, and diverse musical traditions.
* Motivate and Support High Achievers: Work with highly academic and musically talented students, including those aspiring to Oxbridge, Russell Group universities, or top conservatoires, providing the necessary extension and support to enable them to excel in all aspects of the subject.
* Collaborate within a Strong Music Department: Join a supportive and experienced team that shares best practices and works collaboratively to achieve departmental goals, including the successful delivery of a high-quality A-Level Music programme that challenges and excites students.
